Education in Action: Honoring Our Third Graduating Class

Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) proudly recognized the achievements of the third graduating class of the Education Institute of Tampa Family, celebrating students who successfully completed training as Medical Assistants, Medical Billing & Coding Specialists, and Pharmacy Technicians.

These graduates now join a growing network of professionals trained to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. The Education Institute was founded to provide hands-on training, mentorship, and real career pathways—empowering individuals to take their futures into their own hands while strengthening the healthcare workforce across our communities.

The graduation ceremony was filled with pride and inspiration. Maritza Torres, APRN NP-C, TFHC’s Vice President of Medical Affairs, delivered a keynote address that reminded graduates of the impact they are capable of making and the power of choosing a career in community health.

Each class of graduates represents TFHC’s continued investment in education, workforce development, and access to opportunity. The Institute not only equips students with technical skills, but also instills the values of compassion, service, and excellence that define TFHC’s mission.

Congratulations to our newest graduates. Your journey is just beginning—and your impact will be felt for years to come.
