Tampa Family Health Centers Brings Rheumatology Care to South Tampa with Opening of Swann Location

Tampa, FL – Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) is expanding access to care at its Osborne location with the addition of a new family practice wing, increasing capacity and creating more opportunities for patients to receive timely, coordinated, patient-centered care.

The expansion marks the addition of rheumatologist Dr. Carolyn Connelly to TFHC. A Tampa native with more than 37 years of experience, she brings deep roots in the community and a lifelong commitment to patient care, enhancing the support available throughout every stage of care.

“I’ve had the privilege of caring for my patients and being part of their health journey,” said Dr. Connelly. “That relationship remains the same. What’s new is the level of support now surrounding each patient, making care more connected and easier to manage.”

TFHC Swann reflects the organization’s continued investment in expanding access to specialty services. With care coordination and on-site pharmacy support integrated into the experience, patients benefit from a more seamless path through diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.

Beginning May 11, the center will welcome patients to a care experience designed to bring together expert care, on-site pharmacy support, and coordinated services in one setting.
