Welcoming the Next Generation: Meet TFHC’s New Class of Family Medicine Residents

Tampa Family Health Centers is proud to welcome its second class of Family Medicine residents, who officially matched and will begin their training in July 2025.

In partnership with BayCare Health System and St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, this residency program is a strategic investment in the future of primary care throughout Hillsborough County. It represents more than an academic milestone—it’s a step toward strengthening local healthcare access, improving outcomes, and building a pipeline of physicians rooted in the communities they serve.

This incoming class of 2028 reflects TFHC’s ongoing commitment to advancing medical education in a community-based setting. By training physicians in real-world environments where health disparities are often most visible, the program prepares future doctors to lead with empathy, clinical excellence, and integrity in patient care.

The addition of these new residents also supports TFHC’s mission to expand high-quality, integrated care for patients of all ages. With a greater team of providers, TFHC can continue meeting the growing demand for accessible, compassionate healthcare in the Tampa Bay area.

To the incoming residents—welcome to Team TFHC. Your journey is just beginning, and the impact you’ll make will be felt for years to come.
